Big Boi has completed his solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, and Andre 3000 has one in the works as well. Plus, there’s talk that the two will release a new OutKast album, the first since the 2006 Idlewild soundtrack.
“This is all in the next year or so,” Big Boi told Billboard.com, “starting with my album coming at the top of the year, Dre 3000 right after me…and when the solo albums come out, depending on how the fans support them, then we’re gonna give them the Outkast album.”
While we’re hopeful this news is true, we have to be cautious since Big Boi said the same thing back in ‘08; we’ll believe it when we hear the music: all three albums.
